Supernova Strengthens Its Italian Footprint with Two New Shopping Center Acquisitions

Le Isole Shopping Center in Gravellona Toce and Centro Commerciale Buonvento in Benevento join Supernova’s growing Italian portfolio.

Supernova continues its expansion strategy in Italy with the acquisition of two established retail destinations: Le Isole Shopping Center in Gravellona Toce, Piedmont, and Centro Commerciale Buonvento in Benevento, Campania. The acquisitions further reinforce Supernova’s commitment to investing in high-quality retail assets located in strong regional catchment areas and strategically important growth markets.

Located in Gravellona Toce, approximately 40 kilometers from the Swiss border, Le Isole Shopping Center benefits from a unique setting in one of Northern Italy’s most attractive leisure and tourism regions. Surrounded by the picturesque lakes Maggiore and Orta, natural parks, and the nearby cities of Verbania and Omegna, the center serves both local residents and visitors throughout the year.

Spread across two levels, Le Isole Shopping Center comprises approximately 17,227 sqm of gross lettable area (GLA) and features 55 retail stores, and 8 food and beverage operators, offering a diverse mix of fashion, footwear, accessories, jewelry, optics, dining, and leisure experiences. The property also includes generous outdoor areas and a green park along the Strona River, creating a destination that combines shopping, relaxation, and community engagement.

The second acquisition, Centro Commerciale Buonvento, is located in Benevento, a vibrant city in Southern Italy known for its rich cultural heritage, educational institutions, and strong regional identity. The center offers approximately 17,940 sqm of gross lettable area (GLA) and is anchored by a Conad supermarket, alongside 48 retail stores and 2 restaurants, serving a broad customer base from Benevento and the surrounding region.

“These acquisitions represent another important milestone in our growth journey in Italy,” said Markus Pinggera, Managing Director of Supernova Group “Both assets are well-established retail destinations with strong market positions, attractive tenant mixes, and excellent connections to their surrounding communities. We see significant long-term potential in both locations and look forward to further strengthening their role as vibrant regional hubs for shopping, dining, and social interaction.”

With the addition of Le Isole Shopping Center and Centro Commerciale Buonvento, Supernova continues to expand its presence across Europe while focusing on sustainable growth, long-term value creation, and the enhancement of retail destinations that serve as important centers of community life.
