Supernova Group, one of Europe’s leading groups specialized in retail properties investments, has made a significant step in its international expansion with the acquisition of the La Scaglia shopping centre in Civitavecchia from Dante Fund which is managed by Kryalos SGR and backed by Partners Group, one of the largest firms in the global private markets industry, acting on behalf of its clients. With this move, Italy became the seventh European market in which Supernova operates, continuing the Group’s ambitious growth strategy across the continent.
“Entering the Italian market is a logical step in our expansion strategy. La Scaglia, thanks to its location and stable revenues, provides an excellent foundation for Supernova Group’s further growth in Italy – a country with a well-developed retail sector and a strong consumer base. Our focus remains on high-quality locations with growth potential, a strategy that has proven successful in all the markets where we operate,” said Markus Pinggera, Managing Director of Supernova Group.
The La Scaglia shopping centre, located in Civitavecchia, a key port city north of Rome, covers 15,828 square meters and hosts over 30 tenants. The centre is nearly fully leased and records 1.72 million visitors annually. The acquisition marks Supernova’s first step into the Italian market.
